I'm Dana Rodney, welcome to my online gallery.

I'm a watercolorist inspired by the innate beauty and intelligence of the natural world. I started painting at age 60, and realized it was something that had been calling to me for a long time.

Why do I paint? Because art contains a resonant energy that connects us without words. I paint only from nature, and my intention as an artist is to deepen our identity with it. I hope my art does that for you, because I try to find the 'soul of the thing' in everything I paint.
